We’re so excited to have you join us at the Museum of Fine Art, Boston Nowruz celebration! Below find arrival and schedule information, along with some questions I’ll need to know:

Nowruz – March 20th 2025, 5pm-9pm
5:15pm – Arrival at Staff Entrance/loading dock
5:45pm - 6pm / 6:15pm-6:30pm Setup & Soundcheck in Shapiro
5pm – Event Begins
6:30pm-6:50pm – Performance
Load out to follow

Load-in Info:
  • All group members must arrive at the staff entrance on Museum Road. It is to the left of the main entrance near the loading dock, across from the parking garage. Feel free to pull vehicles down to the dock doors for easy load in.
  • All equipment, including cameras and instruments, needs to be checked by museum security and logged in and out of the building. Please give us a list of all of your equipment in advance to speed this process.
  • All persons entering through the staff entrance must provide a valid government-issued photo ID to the security guard at the check-in desk. Each person entering the building must fill out this form upon entry. Save the screenshot of the permission to enter on your phone to show the guard.
  • A museum staff person must accompany you at all times during load-in and load-out as we will be using areas that are only accessible with a staff badge. We have plenty of people to escort you—just let us know if you’d like to leave the building.
  • Once you’ve loaded in, complimentary parking will be provided in the MFA’s lots.

Our showtime will be 6.30 pm - 6.50 pm
1. Go to https://mfa.org/tickets
2. Select March 20th and General Admission ticket option
3. On the next page, enter the promo code CE-CC8RED in the top right hand corner and click submit.
4. Continue on this page to select your number of adult visitors (up to 4) under MFA PASS and your number of youth visitors (up to 4) under MFA PASS YOUTH 7-17.
5. Click “Agree” to the Health and Safety Policy and then click the “add to cart” button.
6. Complete your order by clicking Go to Order Summary and then provide the login information for your account or create a new account. If you have to create a new account, you will need an email address and to provide a physical address.
