2. Volunteer Eligibility
  • United States citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States (i.e., green card holder)
  • Must be at least five years old
  • Complete eligible service within a 12-month period (for annual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards) and over a lifetime (for Lifetime Achievement Awards) as a volunteer member of the Global Music Partnership's (GMP) network
  • Non-GMP related volunteer services will be counted (with project/organization advisor's approval) if you have volunteered via Global Music Partnership's (GMP) network
  • Age categories (Kids 5-10 years old; Teens 11-15; Young Adults 16-25; Adults 26+
3. Eligible Service
  • Unpaid acts of volunteer service benefitting others
  • Service through National service programs that provide a stipend (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) may count towards the Lifetime Achievement Award, but not for the annual Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awards)
  • Travel stipends, transit/parking passes, membership passes, expense reimbursements, and other nominal volunteer support do not impact service eligibility
4. Eligible Service Does Not Include
  • Donating funds
  • Political lobbying (Non-partisan voter registration is an eligible activity)
  • Religious instruction
  • Conducting worship service
  • Proselytizing
  • Volunteer service performed as part of court-ordered community service
  • Serving only family members
5. Hours Required to Earn Awards in Each Age Group
  • Kids (5-10 years old), Bronze 26-49 hours, Silver 50-74 hours, Gold 75+ hours, Lifetime 4000+ h
  • Teens (11-15 years old), Bronze 50-74 hours, Silver 75-99 hours, Gold 100+ h, Lifetime 4000+ h
  • Young Adults (16-25 years old), Bronze 100-174 hours, Silver 175-249 h, Gold 250+ h, Lifetime 4000+ h
  • Adults (26+ years old), Bronze 100-249 hours, Silver 250-499 h, Gold 500+ h, Lifetime 4000+ h
6. What Will Our Volunteers Receive for Recognition?
  • Personalized certificate recognizing their highest level of achievement (Gold, Silver, or Bronze);
  • Letter signed by the President of The United States of America; and
  • Pin, coin, or medallion based upon GMP's selection
7. How to Keep Track of Volunteer Hours?
  • Download a spreadsheet sample/template and keep track of all the hours. Your time log must reflect each day you volunteered and the hours served on those days. All hours must be entered as single entries when transferring your hours into the spreadsheet. After you complete your time log, use the downloaded spreadsheet to record a total volunteer service hours.
  • Submit your time log exhibiting your volunteer service hours and the completed spreadsheet to Global Music Partnership at info@globalmusicp.com
8. Volunteer Service Hours Verification
  • I understand that I have to keep accurate track of my volunteer hours and receive approval from the organization/project supervisor (see spreadsheet samples attached).
9. Volunteer Services
  • I understand that I will be assigned volunteer work/community service upon availability and after discussion with the GMP Volunteer Award supervisor, president, and/or officer of the local chapter. I also understand that GMP does not guarantee and is not obliged to provide any volunteer work or community service.
10. Annual membership fee
  • I agree to pay the $27 annual membership fee to become a member of the program.
  • I understand that I can unsubscribe anytime I decide to withdraw from the program, and I understand that the subscription fee will not be refunded if the payment has been processed.
  • The application fee may be waived if the applicant/guardian experiences a financial hardship (please contact us at info@globalmusicp.com)
11. Travel
  • All selected participants and their accompanying persons will be responsible for their personal expenses including traveling, hotel, meals, sightseeing etc.
12. Indemnification by Applicant/Parent/Guardian
  • By entering the Global Music Partnership President's Volunteer Service Award Program, the applicant releases and holds the Global Music Partnership and its partners harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrant or any other person, including personal injury, death or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any award, participation in the Global Music Partnership President's Volunteer Service Award Program, any breach of any Global Music Partnership President's Volunteer Service Award Program Rules or in any award-related activity. The entrant agrees to fully indemnify, without limitation, the Global Music Partnership from any and all claims by third parties relating to the Global Music Partnership President's Volunteer Service Award Program.
13. Privacy/Use of Personal Information
  • As a condition of entry, all applicants grant Global Music Partnership LLC the right to:
  • a) Use his or her personal information for the purpose of administering the Global Music Partnership President's Volunteer Service Award Program, including but not limiting to his or her name, email, phone number and mailing address;
  • b) Use his or her name, photograph, video and audio recordings, likeness, voice, prize information and/or biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law; and
  • c) Use his or her name and his or her respective City and Province of residence in connection with any media now known or hereinafter devised.
  • Your privacy is very important to us. All parties will use personal information only for purposes related to the Global Music Partnership Programs, Events and/or Projects.
14. Limitation of Liability
  • Global Music Partnership LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for lost, late, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies, release, any defective application form or any computer, online, telephone, hardware, software or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an audition materials and application form.
  • Global Music Partnership LLC is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information regardless of the cause. Global Music Partnership LLC is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading materials from this website. Global Music Partnership LLC reserves the right to make changes to its website, rules, policies, and regulations at any time without notice.
