Asian Crossroads at Yale and Global Music Partnership, under the patronage of the Consulate General of Kazakhstan in New York, present a cultural event on October 25, 2025, at Yale University, titled ‘Kazakh & Central Asian Heritage Celebration.’ This event aims to introduce Central Asian culture and promote cross-cultural understanding through music, tradition, and performing arts.

The event will showcase distinguished artists and young talents, including the
GMP National Honors String Ensembles, presenting musical works by celebrated Kazakh composers such as Serik Erkimbekov, Gaziza Zhubanova, and others.
Highlighting the program is the Connecticut premiere of
Kuat Shildebayev’s Küy "Karakemer" for solo and strings—its first U.S. publication by Global Music Partnership Press—and the presentation of its published score as a gift to the Yale University Music Library.
